West Cork Salmon/trout fishing is common place on the Bandon River which flows Innishannon House hotel.
The Bandon River is one of Ireland’s finest Salmon Rivers and gets an excellent run of Sea Trout commencing in May right through to August. The season for salmon opens on 1st February and continues until 30th September.
The Bandon River rises in the Shehy Mountains in West Cork and flows east through Dunmanway, Ballineen, Enniskeane, Bandon and Innishannon to Kinsale Harbour.
